Celebrating 130th Anniversary of the Consecration of St Andrews Church & the 80th Anniversary of the Opening of the Parish Hall
Saturday 27 August & Sunday 28 August 2011 mark a special anniversary in the life of St Andrews Parish. St Andrews Church was consecrated for divine worship by The Rt Rev William Cowie, Bishop of Auckland, on 31 August 1881, the Feast of St Aidan. 50 years on, as part of a Jubilee Celebration, the Parish Hall was opened in 1931.
